How long does it take to establish an account?
From the time you complete the credit card authorisation from our processing facility, your account will be activated instantly. You will then receive a welcome email automatically (normally within 5 minutes) detailing your account info.
If I have a problem setting up my web site what do I do?

What are domain pointers/parking?
Domain Parking is when a domain is pointed at your current site to show the same content as your main domain when entered into your browser. Example: http://yourmainsite.com & http://yourparkedsite.com - would show the same content.
Domain Pointing is when a domain is pointed at a subfolder of your main domain to show different content than your main site. Example: http://yourmainsite.com/subfolder/ & http://yourparkedsite.com - would show the same content.
What are the minimum server specifications?
BeamHost guarantees a minimum available server configuration of:

What happens if I reach my data transfer limit?
Those on a shared hosting plan will have their account automatically suspended on reaching the data transfer limit to prevent excessive overages (and costs). Your transfer limit resets on the 1st of each month.
We make an attempt to send out warnings when the limit is approaching so you can make arrangements but it is your responsibility to keep a check on usage and to contact us in advance to upgrade if required to prevent suspension.
Do you host adult/warez sites?
No, we do not allow our customers' to host adult or warez sites because it is our policy not to mix adult and non-adult customers on the same server. However we can accept certain types of adult content on a seprate adult server for an additional charge. If you wish to host adult content, you must contact us first.
